Branding Portraits - Recently I had the absolute pleasure of photographing one of the most special creatives I know. Lisa (@liiiisahhhh) I met over 10 years ago whilst working in a design agency in London, we instantly clicked :) You know that sort of friend who you think is just simply amazing?! Lisa is currently in the process of launching her graphic design business here in Sunny Brisbane. With a brief from Lisa in mind, I captured these soft and candid moments one afternoon in the beautiful #BotanicalGardens. These portraits will be used within business design collateral, effectively communicating Lisa's warm and genuine personality and style x

New Zealand ~ Looking over some photographs taken in 2018 during a trip to New Zealand with my family which was then without little Ollie! Documenting time ~ Dani, Matt, Charlie & Tilly during our Saturday afternoon photography session in Yeronga. These sessions don't take long, either for 1 hour, 2 hours or 3. Wedding moments ~ A series taken from a beautiful wedding I photographed in Byron Bay. Such a lovely, genuine and heartfelt occasion. I have realised over the years I never forget days like these x

As your Wedding day approaches, most couples start looking at budgets and what their main priorities when it comes to the Big Day. Over the years I've been a wedding photographer, I've learnt that the main priorities that couples tend to focus on is the Wedding Venue, Guest list, Dress and of course the Wedding Photography. As part of the Wedding Photography, most of my couples decide on investing in a Queensberry Wedding Album to showcase their favourite photos from the big day. In addition, all of my Wedding Packages are presented in a Wedding Folio Kit. This kit includes a 6x8 Hand Crafted Fine Art Book & specially commissioned USB Card, presented in a Natural toned book cloth cover and casing. I love books, so crafting this product was an enjoyable process - resulting in a beautiful Wedding Photography keepsake.

Tom & Britt's Wedding was in Brisbane in October. They choose Toowong Rowing Club as their brisbane wedding venue and it turned out to be a lovely choice for their very special day. You see, Tom & Britt met at the rowing club as both were members growing up. It was there that Tom wooed his lady Britt into becoming his special partner for life. I love that story! These two are so gorgeous, it was a pleasure to be their wedding photographer, it was an awesome day x

I find the Photo Mood Boards useful as they show my photography style as well as being great inspiration boards for couples planning their special day.

It's been a busy year with Weddings and I'm feeling excited about all of my couples loving their special Wedding Folio Kit, exclusively designed by Clair Estelle Photography and handcrafted by the best all the way over in London. Wedding Albums are an important part of every Wedding Package but these gorgeous Kits are a unique, tangible item, to have and to hold if a Queensberry Wedding Album isn't something couples are wanting to invest in straight away.

Jimmy and Kath's Wedding at The Elandra Mission Beach was a fantastic day. After flying up from Brisbane, I prepared for the special occasion ahead. I immediately could see this coastal beach wedding was going to be gorgeous! The next day, as the sun shone down these two were married, followed by an amazing evening of love, laughter and fantastic food with family and friends. Congratulations to Jimmy, Kath and there little daughter Freya, it was a pleasure being your
wedding photographer! x

Andrew and Liddy had their wedding ceremony at Earth House - a fantastic new barn and outdoor wedding venue in Bangalow, Clunes, just near Byron Bay. There gorgeously genuine and relaxed wedding day was full of love, laughter and good times celebrated with their closest family and friends and lots of yummo pizza! Among other things about this day, I adored Liddy's dress. The animated and loving nature of these two love birds was a pleasure to be around. I was super happy to be the Wedding Photographer for their special day! x

Next on the blog, Andrew and Liddy's gorgeous Wedding at Earth House in Bangalow, Clunes, just near Byron Bay. I loved this wedding! The party continued late into the evening at the Bangalow Town Hall for the Wedding Reception. What a relaxed, organic/earthy wedding day this was, I can't wait to share it with you…

Next on the blog the gorgeous Wedding of Adam & Gina. It was a pleasure to be their wedding photographer in August. This couple celebrated there wedidng day in Queenland surrounded by family and friends at Branyan Retreat. I totally adore their little family who were all part of the bridal party. Such a special day for two amazing people, congratulations Adam & Gina! x

Adam and Gina's wedding day was beautiful. They decided to do a few things a little differently. In fact, they decided to meet for photographs before the wedding ceremony, which unfolded as the afternoon turned into evening that August day. This gorgeous couple celebrated their special day with there friends and extended family, but most importantly their 3 little kids who were part of the bridal party. Adam and Gina run a bridal car company in Queensland and owned the gorgeous back vehicle Gina arrived at the gardens in. Such an amazing day! It was a pleasure to be Adam and Gina's Wedding Photographer x

Edwin and Kelly love Byron Bay. Kelly, after visiting the picturesque beach side cliffs in Byron Bay at sunrise one day, feel in love with the place. So, it seemed only fitting to take her love, Edwin (and me!) there one day for a special pre wedding engagement photography session. I love photographing at the oceans edge, with the crisp sea air filling our lungs and the atmosphere of the ocean surrounding us. I enjoyed this Byron Bay Photography session very much! I always enjoy creating products for my couples, earth toned materials and soft pastel items suit my wedding photography style perfectly. When seeking inspiration I head to the ocean, feeling the sand between my toes and soaking up the fresh sea air. I love the natural items I have found in my travels over the years, picking up the special ones and keeping them in my pocket for future inspiration and memories x

The moment we arrived at the secret location, I knew, Emmanuel, Lauren and I were going to create something special. After knowing these two love birds for some time, I was very excited with the thought of photographing them together, amongst the tall pine trees of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Together on that day, surrounded by nature we felt warm in the presence of love x

My goodness, how time has flown! It's already been over 3 months since my Husband Grant and I migrated home to the Sunny shores of Brisbane. We're enjoying Queensland beaches, yummy fruit & veges and of course being close to our family and Aussie friends. We're enjoying catching up with everyone! Things have been moving forward in leaps and bounds since our return and it feels like we never left the sunny state years ago. Weddings for 2015/2016 are booking up quickly with a few vacancies left so if you are in need of a creative wedding photographer, I would love to hear from you! I photographed Tim & Jamie one lovely afternoon in Innes Park near Bundaberg. It was warm on our skin as the sun went down and day turned into night. As we walked on the sand together, I knew in that moment we were creating something special through a series of photographs x

I met Ian and Jackie one day and realised pretty quickly how sweet (and very stylish) they were. Their wedding day was held inside a real life castle, called Eastnor Castle situated in the Malvern Hills, Herefordshire. This was such a soft, romantic wedding, I completely enjoyed being the wedding photographer for these two x

Al & Lucy were married in the small English Village of Lasham in Hampshire. Their rustic wedding was set in an open field not far from the house Lucy grew up in, perfectly named Tapestry Cottage. I did fall in love with that gorgeous cottage straight away, it had such a lovely, homely feel to it. After getting ready, it was time for the wedding day. I was blown away by the amazing decorative efforts of Lucy & Al's family, which contributed to making this wedding even more special. I have never seen an Outdoor DIY Wedding as thoroughly decorated & planned out as this one! Wishing Al & Lucy all the best for their future adventures. It truly was a pleasure to be the wedding photographer for this day, one of my last weddings before moving home to Brisbane Australia x

Emma was married to her husband Paul in August this year at St Peter's Church in Petersham. I felt so honoured to be their wedding photographer, it was such an amazing outdoor wedding. I love this portrait as it shows Emma, at ease and looking straight into the camera. Emma wore a gorgeous Jenny Packham wedding dress complimenting her natural style and beauty perfectly.

I never really knew what my future had in store for me when I moved to London for the first time in 2005. It was a big city, I was (and still am :) a small girl - yet here I've lived, enjoying my life and running a photography business in the Uk's capital. How did that happen! I say that like I don't know, but I tell you I do know - through many a long night, lots of dedication and last but not least meeting/photographing many special couples planning for their wedding day. Despite all of this, I feel the time comes in ones life when they question their location, space in which they live and distance away from family. So, after much deliberation we (myself and my husband Grant) have decided now is the time. Now is the time to say our goodbyes to London as we know it, now is the time to give our special friends here a big hug

and call Brisbane it's home again x

Parents play a special part on any wedding day, it's always how it goes. The above photo shows a moment between Sonya and her parents whilst getting ready, the care and intrigue in this picture makes me feel love. The photo below is one I took later on that day, as Sonya approaches the wedding ceremony to meet her man Mikey. That staircase, that girl, that moment.. weddings are made of these x

When I think of Erik and Clare I think energy! These two have such an open and infectious energy, it was a pleasure to be their wedding photographer in July this year. Their Industrial Wedding at loft studios was amazing! After being together for many years travelling around the globe, they decided it was time… Erik wore a blue suit and Clare a white dress and together they turned to a new page in their lives. When I met Andy and Heather (and their little dog Billie!) earlier this year, I realised straight away how cool they were. This wedding was pretty much the perfect day for the amazing Tom and Lisa. Their guests all loving and all super ready to celebrate their big festival wedding day with them! What a day it was... A ceremony in the sun, drinks and games in the garden then an evening in a tipi at Cowparsley farm - awesome! The Gents Piano Band was a highlight for everyone, what characters those two are! Personally I loved this day and I honestly felt so happy to be there as Tom and Lisa's wedding photographer . So, I present to you the day as I saw it....x

Breaking from a very busy wedding season I'm in the studio... finalising gorgeous new photo products ... launching 2015! I do love my job as a wedding photographer. I feel very honoured to have worked with and met so many very talented craftsmen along my journey so far, helping me create and develop gorgeous handcrafted products for my lovely couples.

When I think of Dan and Jen, a smile instantly appears on my face, these two are such a cute, sweet and fun couple, hence their wedding day being awesome! I really like this photo I took with them during our wedding portrait time. Jenny said "Wow, I really like this bike" Snap! went my camera shutter…such candid fun moments, creating memories forever x

Rich and Andra, what a fun couple these two make! I was their wedding photographer for their big day at the Bingham Hotel in early May this year. Soft light and an afternoon breeze… what more could've we asked for during our post wedding portrait session?! What a wedding, what a couple!

When I met Andrew & Whitney early last year, I knew their wedding day would be a special one. The whole day was fabulous, full of love, laughter and good times for the couple celebrating their special day with family and friends. A highlight for me was when we climbed over the rocks of Higger Tor to create the lovely portraits below. This location was special to Whitney as she grew up learning to climb in this area. The location you may recognise as it was also used for scenes in the movie Pride & Prejudice with Keira Knightly. I also love the hand made touches of this wedding, including all of the gorgeous stationery designed by Andy, the very talented Groom. I also adore the sign attached to the bridal car lovingly drawn by Whitney's Dad, so much heart! What a great day for such a lovely couple, congratulations Andrew & Whitney, it was so much fun being your wedding photographer! x

The day of this pre wedding photography shoot it was really windy! I met Adam and Mary all dressed and ready to go. These two are seriously cute! I loved their outfits (perfectly matched) and Mary's shoes amazed me! But the thing that I adore the most about this couple is their dedication, love and respect towards each other. After meeting at university here in London, Adam and Mary became a couple. The deal was sealed one night when Adam took Mary on a date to the blind restaurant, Dans Le Noir…
the rest is history! I'm looking forward to photographing their wedding day later on this year!

Andy, Heather (and Billy the dog!) are an awesome little family :) I feel privileged to be their wedding photographer for the big day in Richmond Park later this year. In preparation for the wedding, we took some time out for a very relaxed pre wedding shoot. We met one lovely afternoon in April, the sun shone softly in the afternoon sky.. pure bliss! Billy the dog sat next to the cows in the paddock before joining us for some special photos towards the end of the shoot :) We had so much fun, I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding in July!

Jono + Kirsty's wedding celebration was held at Jono's sports club in Barns where he plays cricket and tennis. Because Jono + Kirsty wanted an outdoor wedding, the sports fields at the club was the perfect location for their wedding day reception. These two love birds met on the District Line tube, so there was a "London Tube" theme throughout all the details worked tirelessly on by Kirsty and her family. Kirsty is a talented Graphic Designer who currently works with Innocent Smoothies, check out the "Kirsty and Jono" labels on the bottles! Love it! Kirsty and Jono were amazing on the day and will continue to be in their future together. Here is there wedding day story...
