Enlisting Clair’s help was probably the most important and best decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. I cannot speak highly enough of her. She was not just a photographer, but a cheerleader, friend, supporter, organiser and extra bridesmaid and usher all in one. Having her there on the day was like having a super-fun guest who had known us for years following us all day.

We both found that the photo session with Clair immediately after the ceremony was one of our highlights of the day. We got married at the end of Sept 2017, so lucky to have Clair as our photographer. Clair came recommended from a friend of ours who is also a photographer and we knew as soon as me met her that she would do a brilliant job of capturing our special day. I saw Clair in action at a friend's wedding and loved her and her work so much that we flew her to Italy for our wedding. I am so infinitely grateful that we did. What a gem. Clair Estelle took the time to understand us and even undertook a full recce of both venues before our wedding day; the restaurant we had our reception in was quite dark and the lighting was challenging but she did a superb job. On the day, she is everywhere but almost invisible, stealthily sneaking around capturing moments with our guests (and us!) that we would have had no possibility of registering with the whirlwind of activity going on. We both pretty much hate having our photos taken but she is so calm, positive and kind that we forgot she was shooting – evidenced by the wide smiles and the occasional faces pulled. The result is a set of images that feels curated, joyful, sentimental and stylish and that we are going to enjoy looking back on. Clair Estelle was one of the first things we booked (apart from the venue) at the beginning of all the organisation. Last minute I went to a vintage fair, that I found out about the day before and on seeing Clair's photos I knew instantly that she was the person we wanted to hire for the day. After looking for a while and having no luck we came across Clair Estelle’s website, we knew from the moment we saw her work she was the one for us. Her photographs were really cool and original and we didn’t hesitate to book her straight away!
