The moment we arrived at the secret location, I knew, Emmanuel, Lauren and I were going to create something special. After knowing these two love birds for some time, I was very excited with the thought of photographing them together, amongst the tall pine trees of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. When I met Andy and Heather (and their little dog Billie!) earlier this year, I realised straight away how cool they were. Following we took a day out to explore Richmond Park for their engagement photography shoot. It can be viewed on the blog here. A few months passed and before we knew it, wedding day had arrived! What a day it was. Both Andy's family (English/Australian) and Heather's crew (Canadian) we're a delight to be surrounded by whilst I did my job as the wedding photographer for their special day. This wedding was pretty much the perfect day for the amazing Tom and Lisa. Their guests all loving and all super ready to celebrate their big festival wedding day with them! What a day it was... A ceremony in the sun, drinks and games in the garden then an evening in a tipi at Cowparsley farm - awesome! The Gents Piano Band was a highlight for everyone, what characters those two are! Personally I loved this day and I honestly felt so happy to be there as Tom and Lisa's wedding photographer . So, I present to you the day as I saw it....x

Breaking from a very busy wedding season I'm in the studio... finalising gorgeous new photo products ... launching 2015! I do love my job as a wedding photographer. When I think of Dan and Jen, a smile instantly appears on my face, these two are such a cute, sweet and fun couple, hence their wedding day being awesome! I really like this photo I took with them during our wedding portrait time. Jenny said "Wow, I really like this bike" Snap! went my camera shutter…such candid fun moments, creating memories forever x

Rich and Andra, what a fun couple these two make! I was their wedding photographer for their big day at the Bingham Hotel in early May this year. Soft light and an afternoon breeze… what more could've we asked for during our post wedding portrait session?! What a wedding, what a couple!

When I met Andrew & Whitney early last year, I knew their wedding day would be a special one. The whole day was fabulous, full of love, laughter and good times for the couple celebrating their special day with family and friends. A highlight for me was when we climbed over the rocks of Higger Tor to create the lovely portraits below. This location was special to Whitney as she grew up learning to climb in this area. The location you may recognise as it was also used for scenes in the movie Pride & Prejudice with Keira Knightly. I also love the hand made touches of this wedding, including all of the gorgeous stationery designed by Andy, the very talented Groom. I also adore the sign attached to the bridal car lovingly drawn by Whitney's Dad, so much heart! What a great day for such a lovely couple, congratulations Andrew & Whitney, it was so much fun being your wedding photographer! x

The day of this pre wedding photography shoot it was really windy! I met Adam and Mary all dressed and ready to go. These two are seriously cute! I loved their outfits (perfectly matched) and Mary's shoes amazed me! But the thing that I adore the most about this couple is their dedication, love and respect towards each other. After meeting at university here in London, Adam and Mary became a couple. The deal was sealed one night when Adam took Mary on a date to the blind restaurant, Dans Le Noir…
the rest is history! I'm looking forward to photographing their wedding day later on this year!

Andy, Heather (and Billy the dog!) are an awesome little family :) I feel privileged to be their wedding photographer for the big day in Richmond Park later this year. In preparation for the wedding, we took some time out for a very relaxed pre wedding shoot. We met one lovely afternoon in April, the sun shone softly in the afternoon sky.. pure bliss! Billy the dog sat next to the cows in the paddock before joining us for some special photos towards the end of the shoot :) We had so much fun, I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding in July!

Jono + Kirsty's wedding celebration was held at Jono's sports club in Barns where he plays cricket and tennis. Because Jono + Kirsty wanted an outdoor wedding, the sports fields at the club was the perfect location for their wedding day reception. These two love birds met on the District Line tube, so there was a "London Tube" theme throughout all the details worked tirelessly on by Kirsty and her family. Kirsty is a talented Graphic Designer who currently works with Innocent Smoothies, check out the "Kirsty and Jono" labels on the bottles! Love it! Kirsty and Jono were amazing on the day and will continue to be in their future together. Here is there wedding day story...

What a year it's been. I may have said this before but I'll say it again. I do feel SO privileged to do what I do for a job, being a wedding photographer is simply awesome! Photographing people on one of the biggest days of their lives is nothing but a gift every time. 2013 was another great year, meeting many people in love and I wanted to thank all my couples for being so wonderful. Being a part of so many beautiful wedding days has honestly been a pleasure! And now to celebrate, I present to you a collection of photographs, each captured and crafted by myself. James & Justine met at art school and after some time decided that each other was "the one". I was super excited after meeting this cool couple as I knew their big day would be great - and it was! Family and friends celebrated after the ceremony at the ever faithful Royal Inn on the Park pub. Evening celebrations included a very talented pianist belting out many favourite tunes ranging from 80's hits to big Broadway ballads. Oh what a couple, oh what a night!

Hamish and Amy were married at St Mary the Virgin Church in Old Malton. They had a lovely wedding ceremony with their closet family and friends. Afterwards, celebrations continued on in the gorgeous gardens at Amy's family home, Whitenell House. This wedding was nothing short of a fairytale… including much love, a vintage tiara and a custom made vodka luge crafted by the bride herself! I took this photograph at the very top of London's magnificent Tower Bridge with Chris & Anjana on there wedding day. We had to climb many narrow stairs to get to this small room that overlooked the river. After the ceremony everyone jumped on board the legendary HMS Belfast for a night of drinking, dancing and celebrations on the high seas of the London Thames!

I met Daniel and Nadia in a coffee shop in central London to hear all about the plans for their wedding day, we had a great time. Nadia is a member of a Steam Punk band called Pocket Watch which I thought was really cool. Daniel is English born and bread whilst Nadia is Australian. They had a gorgeous wedding at The Priory in Hadleigh, surrounded by their special family and friends from all over the world. It was such a fun yet heartfelt affair, set in the beautiful Suffolk countryside.

In the past few weeks I've taken some time to reflect. In this time I've felt very privileged to do what I do for a job. I feel so lucky to be around such awesome people on such a special day, creating what I call 'considered compositions of a moment in time' I have compiled some of my favourite compositions of 2012, some of the big shots that rekindle the love and bring a smile to my face. Words cannot express the love I witnessed on the Day of Andrew and Steph Bell's Wedding. This special couple I met years ago, so photographing their wedding in Fernhurst, West Sussex was truly a blessing. It was pretty hard not to shed a tear as Andrew and Evie (their little girl) stood waiting for Mummy (Steph) to arrive.. in all her festival vintage grace and glory... on a tractor! :) Guests were also impressed with Andrew's homemade brew he called Buttbells. So here it is, their special day as I saw it...x

Mike and Kellie were married in Italy, and I was asked to go along to photograph the big day. This was a destination wedding, all was organised from London. When the day came around it was all systems go. Kellie's smile rules the world, she was an amazing bride. Mike standing tall in his kilt and tie :) At the house, everyone celebrated into the night after the ceremony which was held in an old town situated high on a hill.. here's their story... x

One of the things that I love seeing when taking photos is how on a wedding day, everyone pitches in. Friends, best mates, sisters brothers.. every one's there for the same reason, the common good - for the wedding celebrating of the special couple. This wedding is no exception. Steven and Louise were married in the softly lit surrounds of the Yorkshire Dales, in Kettlesing Town Hall. Louise being a fashion student designed her own dresses (for herself and her girls). Their group of creative and heartfelt friends & family made it all so special in so many ways.. I saw gorgeous cakes, a lively Kaylee and a beautiful rendition of "Your Love Keeps Lifting Me". There's nothing like a reason to celebrate and to feel good... enjoy! x

Rebecca and Anwar were married at Kew Gardens (London) in the Nash Conservatory, with Celebrations in the Orangery. I met Rebecca over a year before her and Anwar's big day and we formed a relationship via email, talking about the day ahead and the plans she had made. So, when the day arrived, I felt like I had a good idea of what lay ahead. As expected the decorations and flowers were lovely, Rebecca looked amazing in her Claire Pettibone gown and Anwar was very calm and sure in stride. I absolutely adore Kew gardens as a venue! This wedding day was a pleasure to photograph and I feel so honored to have been a part of it. I wish Anwar and Rebecca all the best for their future :) x
